OUR HISTORY
It all started in 2016 when Bridgepoint Mission started a pantry in Wisconsin Dells. What started as a community outreach, once a month mobile pantry serving Baraboo, Lake Delton, Wisconsin Dells, Reedsburg, Portage, and surrounding areas, grew quickly.
In August 2018, the pantry changed it's name to Beyond Blessed Pantry and became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The number of households served continued to grow and the pantry needed more space pretty quickly. Several moves later Covid hit and the number of households served went from 300 a month to 300 a week, and by 2024 the pantry was serving 695 households a week and more space was once again needed.
On January 10, 2025, the pantry closed on a new property at 1101 Lake Street in Baraboo, Wisconsin, which provided much needed space to enhance operations and capacity significantly. We are excited about the opportunity to continue to grow and serve this great community.
Due to the commitment to serve without judgment (No paperwork, residency requirements, income questions, limitations on the frequency of visits), Beyond Blessed Pantry does not qualify for government assistance. The pantry relies solely on private grants and donations from individuals and organizations. Food is sourced from local grocers, area food banks such as Second Harvest Food Bank in Madison, Wisconsin, partner agencies, and regional manufacturers and distributors.
The pantry primarily serves the following counties: Sauk, Columbia, Juneau, Adams, and Marquette.
There are over 100 volunteers that give 100% every week to make sure every individual is served with dignity and respect while addressing the food insecurity issues at hand.
Board members of Beyond Blessed Pantry are committed Christ followers who are motivated to love and serve the community.
